ABOUT ARRMAN
B.A. Journalism and Philosophy
University of Richmond 2020
I am a Burmese journalist and copy editor with a penchant for being persistent in my questioning, careful in my reporting and meticulous in my editing.

My experience in analytical philosophy and copy editing helps reinforce these traits.

As someone who worked his way up from news writer to copy editor to managing editor of my college newspaper, The Collegian, I have been involved in many aspects of journalism, from in-depth reporting to difficult decision-making to helping lead other editors and writers.

I aim to keep the powers-that-be accountable and the public informed. My comfort zone is during an interview.

I have covered news about – but not limited to – arrests, lawsuits, convictions, politicians, legislation, campaign finances, protests, substance use recovery and race.

I intend to continue doing so.
